Your details.
Handled with care.
This notice explains how Turn on Media uses information on turnon.media. For privacy questions, email website@turnon.media.
What you share
An enquiry asks for your name, business email, phone number and project category. The meeting form asks for your name, email, time zone and chosen appointment time. Our server checks availability and sends the booking details to Google Calendar to arrange the meeting. You can choose to include a design direction. Please keep sensitive personal information out of these requests.
Why we use it
We use your request to reply, discuss a possible project, arrange a meeting and prepare an agreed proposal. These activities support steps you ask us to take before a contract. We also use necessary service records to operate and protect the website and handle our business responsibilities.
Who handles your information
Your enquiry passes through our enquiry service and email providers so the remote team can respond. If you book an appointment, Google processes the booking and meeting details under its own privacy practices. Google shares booking information and notifications with the organiser and the person booking the appointment. Hosting and security providers may process basic connection information to serve and protect the website. Service providers may operate in other countries; privacy questions about the providers or arrangements used for your enquiry can be sent to our email address.
Google account access for scheduling
The Turn on Media organiser connects their Google account to enable scheduling. We use the organiser’s verified Google email address to check that the intended account is connected. Visitors book through our website without granting access to their own Google accounts.
The integration reads free/busy availability and creates or retrieves the appointment events associated with website bookings in the organiser’s calendar. Your name, email address, selected date, time and time zone are sent to Google Calendar to create the appointment, generate its Google Meet link and request the guest invitation. Event details are accessible to the organiser and invited attendee, and are processed by Google.
We store the organiser’s authorisation credentials privately on our server so the scheduler can operate between visits. The organiser can revoke this access in Google Account permissions. Revoking access stops future API access; it does not automatically remove existing calendar events or invitations.
Google account and Calendar data accessed by this integration is used for scheduling and related support. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. Turn on Media’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
For questions or requests to access, correct or delete appointment information held by Turn on Media, email website@turnon.media. We may need to verify your identity. Information in your own Google account can also be managed using Google’s controls.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information while it is needed to respond, follow up on your request or carry out an agreed project. We review whether information is still useful and remove information that is no longer needed. Project and financial records may need to be kept for business or legal obligations. You can ask us about the retention criteria for your request.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or object to or request limits on its use where applicable. You can also ask about portability. Email website@turnon.media with your request. We may need to confirm your identity and explain any information we need to retain. You may raise a concern with the relevant data protection authority; UK visitors can find information at the ICO.
Cookies, storage and optional measurement
Necessary browser storage remembers preferences, your chosen design and whether a request was acknowledged. Unsent enquiry and booking details may be held in the page while it remains open. The booking service keeps limited reservation references and hashed anti-abuse records; calendar event details remain in the organiser’s Google Calendar. If optional measurement is configured, Google Analytics can help us understand page use and accepted enquiries; Meta can help measure advertising enquiries. These tools remain off until you allow the corresponding choice. Names, email addresses, meeting times and form contents are not added to our measurement events.
Change your choices
You can change optional analytics and advertising choices using the button below. Declining optional tools does not prevent an enquiry. Withdrawing a choice stops our future optional measurement events; it does not remove information already sent to a provider.
